Certain Software Launches New Service to Allow Meeting Organizers and Sponsors to Benchmark and Measure Meeting Results

EIBTM CONFERENCE, BARCELONA—Nov. 30, 2010—

  • Certain Software forms strategic partnership with MeetingMetrics, the leader in survey-based meeting result measurements methodology
  • The new service offering, delivered by Certain’s consultants, will enable customers to leverage decades of experience and a comprehensive content library to efficiently implement a meeting result management program

Today Certain Software announced that it is expanding its offerings to help organizations measure and improve the business impact of meetings. By partnering with MeetingMetrics, a recognized, award-winning meeting results management provider, Certain will help event organizers and planners measure and improve the overall effectiveness of meetings by offering new benchmarking and measurement capabilities as part of its service portfolio.

“This partnership is significant because it presents a proven, viable way to measure and improve the value of meetings. Whether it’s a 50-person sales event or a 5000 person tradeshow, event organizers can render tangible information which can then be immediately delivered to meeting and event executive sponsors,” said Peter Micciche, CEO of Certain Software.

The new service will benefit all stakeholders in the event ecosystem by providing trusted content, methodology and know-how to measure what has traditionally been hard to measure: the impact that meetings can have from a psychological, behavioral and business impact standpoint. How do they do it? MeetingMetric’s expertise, combined with Certain’s acclaimed technology solution, offers a full spectrum of specialized, customizable, surveys for pre-meeting or post-meeting, and a content library that includes over 1000 field-tested questions to pull from. Customers benefit from the ability to quickly implement proven methodology to answer questions such as:

  • Did the channel partner meeting help increase brand awareness of a new offering over time?
  • How successful were we in implementing a consultative selling approach during the last sales meeting?
  • How can we efficiently involve meeting attendees in setting up the agenda and objectives for an annual conference?

“We are giving meeting planners a proven methodology and the supporting technology to design more powerful, results-driven meetings. The difference between our solution and the generic survey tools out there is that ours are specifically designed to serve the needs of meetings and events, and comes with a full library of content and best practices. With over 1000 meeting survey questions available to pull from, organizers can leverage intelligent content that is already built into the system,” said Ira Kerns, Managing Director and Founder, MeetingMetrics. “We are excited to work with Certain. Their extensive reach will give us the opportunity to extend our services on a global scale.”
