December 29th, 2010- Smart phones, social networks and automation will be among the key trends driving meetings technology in 2011, according to Certain Software, a San Francisco-based company that specializes in event management software.

The company, which announced its top predictions for 2011 earlier this month, polled its customers and partners about the year ahead and concluded that "2011 will mark significant changes for the global meetings and events industry, driven in part by the ongoing adoption of mobile, the increase in popularity of social networks, and the pressure to make meetings and events more transparent, predictable and aligned to the business."
