What Are Webinars? They are online classes and seminars that you can attend from anywhere using your computer!
Who is this webinar series for?
Health and social service professionals who wish to improve their capacity to assess dementia and to work with families of various backgrounds to deal with the issues surrounding dementia.
What technology do you need to participate in the series?
All you need is a computer with access to the Internet and speakers or a headphone to hear the presenters. Our service is compatible with Windows & Macintosh systems. You will be sent presenter slides via e-mail ahead of the program.
Continuing Education Credit is Available:
Nurses, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists (CEU): If you register and purchase a CEU registration you will receive 1 CEU per event attended.
Physicians and Psychologists (CME): If you register and purchase a CME registration you will receive 1 CME per event attended.
CME Details: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Institute for Medical Quality and the California Medical Association’s CME Accreditation Standards (IMQ/CMA) through the Joint Sponsorship of Scripps Mercy Hospital and Stanford Geriatric Education Center. Scripps Mercy Hospital is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Scripps Mercy Hospital takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
Scripps Mercy Hospital designates each webinar for a maximum of one (1) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.
