Welcome to the on-line registration site for Your Definition of Success, It's An Inside Job, a transition weekend training event for parents of student with visual impairments and multiple disabilities including deafblindness. Please explore the website to learn more about this event before registering. Just a few important notes before you get started:
- Families are charged a fee of $35 per adult family member who attends.
- Children with visual impairments or deafblindness who are ages 10 thru 22 years old and able to fully participate in the workshop may attend free.
- Professionals and paraprofessionals may also attend although their participation is in limited numbers so we may include as many family members as possible. They will pay the same fee as an adult family member who registers ($35).
- Each family member who will be participating in the workshop must register individually, but all registrations may be paid with a single check or purchase order. Be sure to include the registrants names with the check or purchase order.
- Children who are not visually impaired or who are unable to participate fully in the workshop should not plan to attend.
- Assistance to pay for child care arrangements made by the family in their home or hotel room is available.
- You may register on-line today and send in the payment at a later date.
- Limited stipends are available for families who are over-income for assistance from DARS-DBS or who do not have a case open with DARS-DBS. More information is available under the Special Needs tab of this website.
