AMANDA VISELL
After getting her snapshot taken with Minnie Mouse when she was only five, Amanda was hooked on Disney -- and was determined to one day contribute to the magic.
Once she moved from Washington state to Los Angeles, it only brought her closer to the artists she grew up admiring, often visiting the park to see what remains of classic Disney, like Mary Blair’s mural in Tomorrowland and the ever-cheerful "it's a small world."
Now she has shows all over the world, exhibiting her art nearly everywhere imaginable, from Chicago to Australia, Seattle to Tokyo. It’s easy to spot her fascination with vintage Disney in her paintings, so it only seems natural that her images commemorate some of her all-time favorite attractions.
For information on Amanda Vissel, visit

Please note: Amanda will not be on hand for the product release and signing opportunity.

Kevin Kidney
For Kevin Kidney, art is an adventure. His creative work for the Walt Disney Company has taken him to such far-flung locales as Japan, Borneo, Australia and China -- a long way from his start as a skipper on the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland. Kevin put his talents to better use designing parade floats, art-directing stage shows, and supervising the model shop for Disneyland's Entertainment-Art Department, eventually leaving the Park to become a WDC staff artist.
With Jody Daily, he has designed thousands of Disney collectibles, from detailed miniatures of Disneyland attractions to stained-glass lamps and ceramic tiki mugs; in 2005, Kevin and Jody received national attention and acclaim for the over 200 items theycreated to mark Disneyland's 50th Anniversary.
Now a freelance artist and writer, Kevin has illustrated books and CD album covers, as well as designed restaurant menus, logos, and signage. Both his commercial work and
his fine-art commissions are informed by his love for the cultural and technological artifacts of the 1920s-1960s, which he collects as avidly as he paints.

Jody Daily
If Jody Daily had a motto, it would be "fresh art served Daily." His prodigious output includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, storybook illustration, scenic design, commercial art, and art restoration. He has created theme-park environments and parades for the Walt Disney Company, for whom he also designed collectible merchandise in collaboration with Kevin Kidney.
The thousands of items they created include detailed miniatures of Disneyland attractions, stained-glass lamps, and ceramic tiki mugs; in 2005, Jody and Kevin received national attention and acclaim for the over 200 items they designed to mark Disneyland's 50th Anniversary.
Although he was proud to be called a "Disney Artist," Jody has since struck out on his own, launching a successful career as an illustrator and designer. His fine-art work reflects his love of midcentury Americana, animals, and cooking (though not always the cooking of animals).

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
Fountain
Edition Size: 500
Retail: $150
Dimensions: 19 1/2"H
It’s a functioning water fountain for your Tiki Bar or dining room table! Standing 19-1/2” high, the highly-detailed fountain features many design elements from the original Disneyland attraction. Master of Ceremonies Jose shares a suspended perch with a happy Toucan. (To satisfy us purists, Jose is in his original 1963 blue-green-yellow colors.)
The water runs from 4 miniature jets and is lit from below and above by colored LEDs that gradually shift hues from warm reds and oranges to cool blues and greens. In a low-lit room the effect is magical, and is guaranteed to have you whistling Offenbach in no time.

LARRY NIKOLAI
As a Senior Conceptual Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Larry Nikolai has helped to create attractions for Disney parks around the world. From “it’s a small world” and “Storybookland” (“Le Pays des Contes de Fées”) at Disneyland Paris to “Splash Mountain” and “Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare” at Tokyo Disneyland, as well as “Journey into Imagination with Figment” at EPCOT, Larry has been honored to work on many new versions of classic Disney shows.
For Tokyo DisneySea he was lead conceptual designer and art director for The Arabian Coast, where he was responsible for introducing enchanting new attractions such as “Sindbad’s Seven Voyages” and the “Caravan Carousel”.
Closer to home, he designed the character vehicles for “Flick’s Fun Fair” and was the character show designer for “Monsters Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!”, both at Disney’s California Adventure.
Larry has designed, sculpted and painted many collectible items for the galleries at Disneyland Resort. When it comes to character portraits, he strives to portray his subjects in situations with dramatic light and magical environments. “I want to present them as real beings” he says, “with a pose and attitude that tells us something about their personalities. Even the settings that they are in should be of key significance to their stories.”

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
Icon Letter Shadowbox
Medium: Paper Sculpture
Retail: $98
Dimensions:
Artist Concept.
Final arwork and framing subject to change.
------------------------------------------
In 1963, Walt Disney unveiled a new kind of three-dimensional animation - the Audio-Animatronics® system. Inside a thatched-roof South Seas building, amazed guests watched in awe as a rousing cast of 225 birds, flowers, drummers and Tiki Gods came to life in a colorful musical revue. Disney's revolutionary new system for combining audio and animation with space age electronics would soon make possible such signature attractions as Pirates fo the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, "it's a small world" and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
In celebration of the 45th anniverary of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, mixed-media artist Dave Avanzino used many of the classic icons from this attraction to create this dimensional artwork. These elements are combined to spell out the words "Tiki Room." Rich polynesian-style patterns and materials are used in the background and on the frame to further evoke the tropical, exotic theme of the attraction.
This unique artwork celebrates the creativity and vision of Walt Disney as showcased in one of his most beloved creations - the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland® park.
Letter Key:
T - Tangaroa (the mighty tree, father of all tiki gods)
I - Clock hand from the Enchanted Tiki Garden
K - Signing Birds of Paradise
I - Chanting Tiki Poles
R - Letter from the Marquee
O - Pineapple representing the Tiki Juice Bar
O - Macaws from original attraction poster
M - Bamboo, the signature design element |

LEANNA BUTCHER
Growing up in Canada with a fascination for Disney animated cartoons and movies, Leeanna drew constantly. Her interest in drawing and animation led her to attend California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where she received her BFA in Character Animation. While at CalArts she experienced the first of many trips to Disneyland, discovering the magic of the “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Haunted Mansion”, “It’s a Small World”, and “The Enchanted Tiki Room” attractions.
These experiences, as well as her classes at CalArts inspired Leeanna to start interpreting her own character designs into plush figures. Creating these “softies” has become a creative compulsion, fulfilling a childhood ambition to “have a room all my own, filled with stuffed animals.” Currently a freelance artist, you can see the latest results of her compulsion here, as well as in the “Crammed Organism Group Plush Show” happening in St. Louis in June 2008.
Please Note: Leanna will not be appearing at the product release & signing.

Kelly & Victor Cabatuan
Husband and wife team Victor and Kelly Cabatuan found each other and then discovered their combined artistic abilities. It eventually expressed itself through their creation of mosaic art. With Kelly's sense of color and design and Victor's attention to detail, it was a winning combination right from the start.
Through years of trial and error, their trademark style was born, a fresh and contemporary twist to an old world art form. Mostly made using ceramic tile, their mosaics are created by individually cutting each piece of tile using tile nippers, saws, grinders and a variety of carving tools. This process makes each finished piece a unique and one of a kind creation. Kelly and Victor work on every project together because they believe that individually they could never accomplish what they do and it pushes them to continually grow, challenge and inspired each other.
