Dormitory Housing
Reservations are being taken for accommodations in Ogg Hall, a University residence hall located at
835 West Dayton Street, conveniently located within blocks of the conference sites. Rooms are available either as double or single occupancy, all with single/twin beds. Ogg Hall will be open to receive guests at the hall desk beginning on Wednesday, July 30 at 12:00 p.m. and will be available to check-in and out anytime through Sunday, August 3 by 12:00 p.m.
Sleeping Accommodations and Amenities:
· Bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, drinking cups, soap and other amenities are furnished.
· Free wired high-speed Internet and digital TV connections are available in the guest rooms for your laptop computer.
· All rooms are air-conditioned and have a small refrigerator, television and clock radio.
· Phone calls can be placed by using the lobby or floor phones, with long distance calls being made with a pre-paid calling card or credit card (800 or 866 prefix) or by making collect calls.
· Rooms will be cleaned, beds made and towels changed daily.
· Floor lounges provide large televisions, wireless Internet access and comfortable seating to relax and socialize. Computers are available for use on the first floor.
· Laundry facilities, vending machines and ice machines are provided in the building.
· All facility areas are smoke-free, including guest rooms.
Bathrooms: Each bathroom provides a private shower and changing area and serves two or three guest rooms located immediately adjacent. Men and women will be assigned to separate bathrooms; mixed-gender couples will be assigned to their own bathroom.
Desk Services: Ogg Hall is staffed with 24-hour desk service at the main entrance. Guests receiving calls should instruct family and friends to call 608-262-6899 during the conference. Messages will be placed in mailboxes near the hall desk. Irons, ironing boards and recreational equipment are available for check-out on a first-come, first-served basis. Laundry soap, postage stamps and other items are for sale at the desk. Ice machines are located on the first floor.
Parking: Residence halls do not have adjacent parking lots. Please secure parking prior to your arrival by contacting the campus’ Transportation Services Office. Instructions can be found online at:

Meals/Rates: Breakfast service will be provided daily at Gordon Commons. The residence hall nightly rate is $40.25 per person for double occupancy and $61.00 per person for single occupancy. Nightly rates include 5.5% Wisconsin state sales tax. All payments for participant guests are due in full at check-in. Please send no payment with this reservation. The University accepts MasterCard, VISA, checks drawn on U.S. banks and U.S. currency. No refunds can be made by University Housing for missed meals or nights of lodging after checking into your guest room.
