On behalf of the North Florida Cardiovascular Education Foundation, we are pleased to invite you to attend our 7th Annual Cardiovascular Symposium being held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the prestigious Marriott Sawgrass Hotel and Convention Center in Ponte Vedra, Florida. For golfing enthusists, this year’s program will precede the Champions Players Tournament being held in Ponte Vedra, Florida beginning on Monday, May 3, 2010.
A strong academic curriculum on varied and critical cardiovascular topics will be presented. We have applied for 10 CME Category 1 credits for attendance of our entire program. We are also pleased to have as our Keynote Dinner Speaker, Dr. Fred Bove, President of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Bove will be speaking on the very timely topic of “Health Care Reform and its Impact on Cardiology”.
This, our 7th Annual Continuing Medical Education Symposium, will feature distinguished speakers who are well known in their areas of expertise. Our symposium topics will include Lipids/Preventive Cardiology, Pulmonary Hypertension/Sleep Apnea, Diastolic Dysfunction and Valvular Disease. Additionally, Dr. Chris Granger, of Duke University Medical School, will be on hand during lunch to talk about STEMI Networks. We hope to cover a wide range of cardiovascular information critical to our field of medicine.
