Guenney is 27" high and is made from two different German mohairs, including a peachy, champagne color for her face. She is completely jointed and free standing. Her eyes, ears, and paw pads are airbrushed. Guenney is wearing 1940's carved wooden wedgies that have carved figures of a woman and a gondolierin the heel. The shoes are from Madagascar. Guenney is holding a 1940's vintage plush bunny that still has the original paper tag. Her German overlay dress is modern.

This very special one-of-a-kind bear has been created to mark the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 80th Birthday. Traditional in style, made of pale pink soft mohair, her feet and hand pads are embroidered with cream pearls piped with gold. Her sash is purple silk with a large diamonte brooch. She has blue eyes and a soft silk nose. To complete this lovely bear, Her Majesty is wearing a small diamonte tiara.

This delightful young bear, 27” tall, is made from pure short pile German mohair. He is dressed in a hand made Sherlock Holmes style tweed coat and cape, with matching tweed hat. The shield and crown of Canterbury, with antique buttons, secures the cape at the neck. His hands and feet are both finished in brown piping with black hand- sewn claws. He has a very expressive, intelligent face with large brown glass eyes and his nose is hand sewn with silk thread. This young detective bear would grace any serious collection with his presence and be sure to get the other bears talking.

"The Cow Jumped Over the Moon” features a cow jumping over the moon, the cat with the fiddle, the bowl and the spoon, and the little dog (not pictured). The bear is made of mohair and measures 3-3/4”. He carries a one inch rabbit and is riding on a hand painted felt cow with ultra suede udders! The 9” tall moon is made of velvet and is soft sculptured. This is a classic rhyme that comes to life!

The fairy-tale from Gebrüder Grimm inspired me to make this famous auction piece. The porcelain doll is 11.5", with a cloth body and posable wire armature. He has grey crystal eyes and strawberry blonde mohair wig. The miller's son's best friend is a very intelligent cat. He is made from German light grey mohair plush, fully jointed with six swivels and one very special swivel in his head, German crystal eyes, and hand embroidered features. He is 11” tall, with leather boots and a bag. The group is very exquisite with a lot of marvellous accessories, including an antique little fairy-tale flyer from Gebrüder Grimm, a basket with porcelain fruits, and many more.

I pray the Lord my soul to keep…” We all know this gentle bedtime prayer which Sandra is finishing before she gets into her antique bed filled with vintage and handmade toy friends. She wears a collage of ribbons, vintage beads, and charms. Her bed is 11” high x 17” long x 9” wide. It is layered with vintage linens and pillows. Her elephant, bunny, and pink horse toys are made by the artist, along with several of the pillows.

“A Pirates Adventure”

A scene of five pirates burying their loot on Treasure Island is cleverly set inside of an authentic antique Jenny Lind Trunk. The scene also includes handmade palm trees, a miniature wooden trunk brimming over with treasure, and even a skeleton. Each bear is approximately 3-4” tall and is made of vintage upholstery velvet, ultrasuede paw pads, German blown glass eyes, embroidered noses and is stuffed with polyester. All bears are completely articulated with wire and disk joints. Their costumes are highly detailed down to the tiny stitches used to edge the coat. The clothing is made of ulstrasuede, silk, cottons and brocades. Lace, silk ribbon, Austrian crystals, glass beads, feathers and much more have been used to detail the costumes. The pirates are accessorized with miniature swords and daggers.

Captain Hook looks like a pirate with a grudge. Arrrgh! He may have been clever enough to capture Tink, but Peter Pan stands ready for the rescue. The un-bearable Captain stands 24" tall and is made of curly, matted and distressed German mohair fabric, and his curly black locks are of synthetic mohair. Five bolt and locknut joints, plus lockline armature give him maximum agility to duel-it-out with Pan. To complete his detailed wool and linen outfit, the infamous hook and sword have been hand-forged and signed by Master Blacksmith Devon Campbell. Pan, the bear who will never grow up is 16” and made of gold distressed mohair. He also has lockline armature with five cotter joints for posing. His bright green eyes accent his green wool and leather clothing, with a little wooden sword at the ready, in his belt. Poor Tink is trapped in Hook’s lantern but not for long. This 7" winged, sprite will take flight the minute she is free. Made of pixie sized mohair, she is fully cotterpin jointed and has wired arms and legs to bend and pose.

This charming trio has decided to dress up as their favorite characters of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. Mickey Bear and Minnie Bear are both 18” tall and are made of black alpaca to create that mouse-like look. Their heads and hands are made of hand dyed curly mohair. Other features include ultra suede paw pads, tilt-able heads, wire armature in arms, Austrian crystal eyes, hand embroidered waxed noses and hand colored and sculpted faces. Each wears the traditional Mickey and Minnie costume, complete with black ultra suede hoods that are removable. Their legs are weighted with steel beads to make them self-standing. These playful bears have even dressed their poodle puppy as Pluto. Poodle Pluto 10-1/2”, is wearing a removable suit made of hand dyed mohair, with hand painted paw pads and red leather collar. Underneath the suit, this lovely poodle puppy is made of curly hand dyed mohair, with hand painted paw pads and hand colored facial accents. He has Austrian crystal eyes and a black embroidered waxed nose.

This 29” Tribute to Walt Disney is created in German Schulte Limited Edition mohair. His colorings are a blend of sage and blonde, with a touch of warm grey. Sage colored ultra suede has been used for his paw pads. German hand blown glass eyes with hand applied lower sage colored ultra suede lids are defined with black liner. His hand stitched nose, using three different shades of pearl cotton in color tones light to dark caramels. His nose has then been waxed and polished. The hand painted oil canvas in the bear’s belly has dark caramel background with a painting of Walt Disney and beloved characters of Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Alice in Wonderland is featured half-sketched, half-painted on Walt’s drawing board.

Made to commemorate Winnie the Pooh’s 80th anniversary year, “Time for a Little Something” is carefully based on the charming original illustration by E. H. Shepard which appeared in the first of the Winnie the Pooh books published in 1926. The one-of-a-kind Pooh bear measures approximately 14” tall and is fully jointed and made of custom-dyed mohair and wool plush. Pooh is designed to stand on his tip toes and has a unique upward-glancing tilt to his head. He has hand-embroidered features and leather covered “shoe-button” eyes (a first for an RJW Pooh). Pooh stands on a beautiful custom crafted wooden chair in front of his authentically-detailed wooden corner cupboard. Inside is his precious Hunny pot handmade of earthenware. The cupboard is mounted on the textured walls of his pantry. The base of the piece measures 24” square and the entire height is approximately 30”.
