Arnel Platon takes a moment to answer the question “Do we dream in color?” with his piece “The Dream.” Arnel, born in the Philippines, moved to the United States at age ten. He graduated from Richard Stockton College, New Jersey with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. He has worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group for the past Seven Years.
His work is a glimpse into the mind of how one man sees the World of Disney. Mickey flourishes in a playground of color, without boundaries, becoming all that he dreams to be an appropriate parallel to its creator.

Greg was born in the small town of Chardon, Ohio. His appreciation for artistic concepts and nature came at an early age through many “cultural visits” to major metropolitan galleries in the northeastern United States. Greg has worked at Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group for nearly two years as a Senior Production Designer, specializing in interactive projects, animation and programming.
Greg’s artworks are inspired by his many intimate park experiences and his desire to carry forth Disney’s personal vision of a company that promotes the most creative, artistic, and technically advanced wonders ever presented.

Tom Shumilak

Tom Shumilak is an Art Director at Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group. He studied at The University of Florida School of Fine Art and worked at several local ad agencies before coming to Walt Disney World.
Tom has worked at Yellow Shoes for eight years, and for the past five, Tom’s paintings and sculptures have been selected as the signature art for the Downtown Disney Festival Of The Masters Art Show. His inspiration for this year’s works was the art of different cultures, combing Asian art styles and Graffiti.

Lenny Labato

Lenny was born in Queens, New York and moved to Puerto Rico at the age of nine. He graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. While there, he majored in computer graphics which allowed him to develop his skills in traditional art as well as computer imagery and animation. These skills have proven useful in his current role with the Disney company as a Senior Production Designer for Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group.

Tim Rogerson

Tim is inspired by the works of Degas, Sargent and Liepke. The North Carolina native has embarked on an artistic journey that has taken him from Degas to Disney.
Tim attended the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida and majored in Illustration. He was awarded the Best of Ringling 2003 & 2004 and founded publishing company Collectors Editions in 1986.

Robert is well-known for his great work with Harmony Ball/Harmony Kingdom around the United States. Robert began his fascination with Mickey Mouse and all that is Disney during a family vacation to the Walt Disney World® Resort at the age of three.
