RSP Tips

Several guests have asked if there is a way to try to obtain very limited items in the RSP by having friends or family members pool together, with out ending up with too much product. In some cases this is very possible provided you let us know at the time you turn in your RSP forms.
Here’s an example for you: a party of 3 want to increase their odds for an item, which has a low edition size. Each Guest completes their RSP with that item listed – usually as their first choice. One memo is written listing the maximum quantity the group wishes to purchase of each item listed on the RSP forms. Fax your RSP forms and the memo to 407-566-1387 (with a follow-up phone call to 866.2147.1203 to ensure that your forms were successfully received).
Once the RSP has been run, Walt Disney Event Services will view the selection notices for the party to see if duplicate pieces were awarded. Excess items are removed from the selection notices and made available to another guest by restarting the RSP where it left off. The party will not be charged for more items than they want, and another Guest is given the opportunity to purchase an item they requested but were not initially awarded.
EXAMPLE: Mickey, Minnie, & Donald are attending an event together. Mickey really wants item #7, which is very limited. Minnie and Donald don’t want that item, but are willing to help out Mickey. The following RSP’s are turned in to Walt Disney Event Services.

Anything above that, please remove from our orders.

Walt Disney Event Services can then remove any product over and above what is listed on the letter should it be awarded.
